It seems that every four years, around the time of a presidential election, there's a lot of talk from Americans expressing an interest in moving out of the country. But this year, according to a new Gallup poll, sees a record number of Americans wanting to emigrate. 21% of Americans polled said they would like to move to another country. That's up from 17% in 2023. The poll also found that while more Americans desire to leave the country, fewer people from other countries want to move here. 18% of people in other countries said the U.S. would be their top choice, down from 24% in 2009.
