TeeRoy's 2 Cents:
Chappelle is showing that rich-guy privilege yet again.
He had a character called "the black white supremacist" -- maybe this is just an act, too.
There's no rule saying one group of marginalized people has to support another one.
Maybe we need to look a little deeper into Dave's psyche -- or his browser history.
According to TMZ, the comedian presented his side in a new stand-up routine that left people wondering if he was serious or just telling more "jokes." As soon as he hit the stage in Nashville, he let the N-words fly, then followed up with a few tosses of the gay slur that begins with "F" -- before saying his wife had bought him a handgun that he wasn't afraid to use.
Chappelle then said he'd talk to reps of the trans groups that are objecting to his new Netflix special, as long as whoever talks to him watches the special from start to finish. He also says the meeting has to be at a time and place of his choosing, and he insists they must admit that Hannah Gadsby isn't funny.
