Millions of Americans are still out of work and many are finding it difficult to still pay their bills, including their rent bill. Though there was a freeze put in place by Florida Gov. DeSantis to stop people from being evicted, some were on edge waiting to see if it would be extended as it was set to expire this week Wednesday. According to NBC6 News, DeSantis "extended a moratorium on evictions and foreclosures until August 1. DeSantis did not answer the question on the moratorium at a Tuesday news conference."
