Jim Jones won't be facing any charges after he was caught up in a brawl at a Florida airport.

According to a report TMZ published on Wednesday, May 8, police agreed Jones acted in self-defense during a fight that erupted inside the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood between him and two men. The police report says the conflict between the Diplomats rapper and passengers James Dos Santos and Alexander Lekht happened when they landed. Jones told police Dos Santos confronted him and pushed him in the chest as he went to get his items from the overhead bin. Jones grabbed his arm and told him to back off, and he did.

After Jones deescalated his problems with Dos Santos, another passenger Alexander Lekht yelled at Jones from his seat. Police were called to the gate but Jones didn't want to press charges and went to baggage claim. Lekht continued to follow the rapper, taunted him and even tried to make him flinch, but Jones didn't react. Once they got to the escalator, Lekht tried another "jerk motion" toward Jones, which is what caused him to grab Lekht. Footage of the video happened to begin after Jones attempted to hold Lekht until police came but ended up falling down the stairs.

Lekht started throwing punches at Jones, and Dos Santos came back and started wailing on him as well. Police say footage from security cameras captured the entire interaction from the gate to the escalator, which helped prove Jones' claim of self-defense. Lekht and another elderly man who was caught up in the brawl were sent to the hospital to treat their injuries while Jones escaped with just a bruise under his eye.

None of the men will face charges, and Jones continued his weekend in Miami without any issues.
