Unity Jam is a free summer event that is all about bringing people together to improve access to services and resources, especially for those living in the 40211 and 40212 ZIP code areas.
The 2018 Jam will feature free music, food and family fun, plus booths with health information, free health screenings and demonstrations. Entertainment and children’s activities will include a dunking tank, face painting, basketball and other games.
School supplies found on a list of suggested supplies from JCPS will be collected at weekly “bus cram” events to be held every Friday in June. Everyone who donates supplies will be entered in a prize drawing. Children who complete a scavenger hunt during the Unity Jam will receive a free backpack full of school supplies.Unity Jam is presented by Norton Healthcare.
