There's a shortage of Doritos, Cheetos and other Frito-Lay products at some stores in New York City. According to the "New York Post," the problem is being blamed on recent delivery driver pay cuts. Many drivers quit and there aren't enough trucks to supply all the stores. The new pay scale will see Big Apple-based drivers earning $60,000 a year, down from $90,000.
The newspaper reports some desperate store owners have ambushed some remaining delivery trucks trying to bum chips or pretzels.
